Infinite Worlds AI Game Master for iPhone · Last updated: 16 October 2026
Infinite Worlds has no account, no sign-in and no server of ours. What leaves your phone depends on one choice you make: which narrator writes the story.
What the app keeps on your phone
The app stores the following on your iPhone, in its own folder:
- Your stories: every passage, your character sheet, the people and places the narrator has noted, the open threads and the running summary
- Your settings: the narrator you chose, the difficulty, the voice, and whether the app may use cellular data for model downloads
- Any narrator model you download, in the app's own storage (these files are not included in backups)
- If you add a Claude API key, that key, stored in the iPhone's Keychain and nowhere else
Stories and settings are included in your iPhone backups according to your own iOS backup settings. Deleting a story deletes it from the phone; deleting the app deletes everything.
Narrator on this iPhone
When a model downloaded to the phone narrates, nothing you write is sent anywhere. The story is written on the device and stays there.
The models are downloaded once from Hugging Face (huggingface.co), a public file host. That download tells Hugging Face your IP address and which file you fetched, as any download does; it carries nothing about you or your stories.
Claude
If you choose Claude as the narrator, you provide your own API key from Anthropic (console.anthropic.com). On every turn the app then sends the story's instructions, your character sheet, the running summary and the recent passages to api.anthropic.com so that Claude can write the next passage. That text is handled by Anthropic under your own account and Anthropic's terms, not ours. The app asks for your consent once before the first time any text leaves the phone, and shows what each turn costs under your key.
We never see your key, your stories or your usage. Nothing goes through a server of ours because there is none.
What we collect
We collect nothing. The app has no analytics, no crash-reporting service, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party code that reports anywhere.
If you have chosen to share diagnostics with app developers in your iPhone's Settings (Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements), Apple may give us anonymised crash reports and usage statistics. That is controlled by you and by Apple, not by the app.
Reading aloud
If you turn on "Read passages aloud", the iPhone's own speech synthesis reads the text on the device. No audio or text is sent anywhere for this.
Sharing and files
Exporting a transcript, sharing a world seed, or bringing a world in from the PC game or the web edition all go through the iPhone's own share sheet and Files. What you share is handled by the app or person you choose, under their terms. The app does not send any of it anywhere itself.
Children
Infinite Worlds is rated for older teens and adults and is not directed at children. Because the app collects nothing, it collects nothing from children either.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, the new policy will be posted at this address with a new date.
